The media could not be loaded. This was easy to set up and pretty intuitive. It took my dog about 20 minutes for him to understand that he had to hit the button. Once he figured it out he had so much fun! We've had it for about a week now and about once a day he asked me to bring it out for him. Great enrichment for him!

It's my fault for not reading the description completely but the button runs on AAA batteries which were not included. I had assumed it was rechargeable like some other dog toys. The main feeder runs on either 4 C batteries or you can plug it into the electric outlet. I opt to get a set of rechargeable batteries for the button and feeder. My dog tends to chew on wires so not using it one thing less to worry about. After conditioning her to associate the ring from the button with food, I taught her to press it herself. Afterwards I introduced the feeder close to the button. Gradually I moved the button to the opposite side of the room and Voila! she can tire herself out walking back and forth. However she did figure out she could pick up the button and move it next to the feeder and press it multiple times for more food. I have to move it back so she wouldn't finish in a few minutes...but I feel like such a bully!

The media could not be loaded. This came with very detailed instructions how to train your pet to use. I though, nah, can't possibly take that long to train her... and it didn't. She looked at it and was very interested. She touched the button and was delighted with the "boing" sound and was excited to find her kibble. 😄 it comes with a suction cup to keep the button secure to tile or linoleum floor and a spike to use outdoors. I ended up using the suction cup on some furniture because she loved the button sound so much she picked it up and ran around the living room shaking it to hear it causing the food to come tumbling out! This certainly was a hit. If you have a pet that gobbles his or her food, this would work great as a slow feeder or as we use it to stimulate her as a fun game. I love that I can control how much food comes out at a time, too!

I have a 90lb pit mix he is always looking to play or do more mental stimulation. He also eats his food way to fast so I am always trying to find different ways to have him eat slower. Once he understood the button I moved it to the top of the stairs so he'll run up and down 10 times and then lay down to take a break. Doing it this way he eats his meal over 2 hours rather than 2 min. He loves it and I love it as its easy to use and supervise and keeps him engaged mentally and physically while I get things done
