Eye-catching and seems good quality

I was pleasantly surprised when the bitless bridle arrived yesterday, that it appears to be a thick, good quality leather, and the decorative tooling is tasteful and very appealing. I also like that it has multiple buckles (1-2 for each strap) so it's highly adjustable to fit your horse's head size. I bought another one for my Paint mare, who has a more dished, baby doll face, and I will have to punch a couple more holes in the noseband for it to fit better on her, but there is space to do that. Out of the box, the bridle fit well on my larger headed Andalusian/QH mare. It seems to be a sturdy build so we'll see how it holds up in time. This is the second one I have bought from Challenger in a different color and pattern. The first one I've been using for about a month, and it still looks brand new, so seems to be holding up well. I love the huge selection of colors and designs that Challenger offers in bitless bridles. I was using a Dr. Cook's bitless bridle before, but the cross-action under the chin does seem to confuse the horse and doesn't release pressure as quickly as this direct side pull, so my horses do seem to be going better in this than the Dr. Cook's bitless bridle. I'm riding them in Western Dressage and Working Equitation obstacles, and these Challenger bitless bridles performed just as well as any other bitted bridle.
Very well made
