I had to replace the roaster I had for over 30 years, so I measured it and it said 19 + inches. That is why i ordered this, but it is not the same size. It is definitely smaller. Still nice, but smaller.

I love to cook curry and this pot is just a nice space for the meat to cook and bake too, especially with the cover on it, I don't have to look for aluminum foil. mainly I bought this to cook biryani and have not cooked it yet but I believe it will work for me with a big deep space like this. the only thing I don't like about it was, there was a small piece of the coating came out. and a small piece of advice pls does apply some butter or any kind of oil spray before using it so that the food will not stick to it. cook on low heat.
