I bought this because there simply wasn't enough room on my eBike bar to mount a phone mount and rearview mirror. Thought it would solve the problem. I looked for one with the maximum stand off distance, but it's still only a few inches away from main handlebar, which lead to a lot of crowding, with phone blocking ebike display, etc.
Tried moving display to this auxiliary bar and had to wrap it with several layers of strips of inner tube to get it large enough to fit tight, and that was an ordeal. Only to find that this bar was crooked due to the angle of the main bar where it was attached. Bottom line is that I returned display to center of main bars where it had been and slide this aux bar out to one side so mirror would function,and mounted phone holder on top bar, though I have to tilt it up a bit for the display to be entirely visible.
It was either get this secondary bar, or go with a higher rise bar, but wasn't comfortable in how to change grips, throttle, brakes, controllers, etc from old bar to new.
The quality of this is less than high end, but for it's purpose, it's fine. I was able to tighten all bolts on it very tight without issue. I was able to move it slightly after a few rides and really cranked it down so it's solid now.
A good product to solve crowding problems on bars, but the stand off of the legs are shorter than I would have hoped. (though others aren't even as long as this model.)

Bracket looks deceivingly skinny and sleek, but, the secret is the CLAMPS which attach to the handlebars most-importantly are not too BIG (*just right) and feature two 2 parallel bolts on both sides of the Clamp gripping super-tight~ (unlike most brackets that are way too Large relying on layers of plastic shims to adjust fit and only have one little bolt tightening the clamp) .... I was pleasantly surprised! .... *bracket originally was black, I repainted cherry RED!

"¦within 1 year and the seller only offers a 180 warranty, so i think every other potential buyer should consider this review as a forewarning that you'll be disappointed by what you'll think of as a great deal, since it is a lower priced item compared to competition. Take heed and purchase from a different seller, who charges you more because you won't regret spending $3 $4 or $5 more for a much higher quality of a handlebar extender!

Upon my exhale of the truth, the seller immediately pulled some 🧵 and had Amazon deliver a 25cm version to my 🚪 earlier today, which gave me more than enough to keep my current setup of lighting accessories safe and sound. For that reason, i will raise my rating to mirror that of the seller. Thank you for the fastest replacement experience i have ever had in my 10+ years of Amazon purchases. Sellers like you bring customers back to purchase from the same store because it just feels right, right? Right!🤞😅

I used the clamps on a spin bike to attach another bar. They worked well, but the clamp design is kind of ugly.
