I decided to take a chance on this instead of the more expensive ones at the local drugstore, and so far I am satisfied. After using this for 6 months or so, it appears to be working just fine. My only complaint is that it tells you the blood pressure reading in a fairly loud, robotic voice, and I have not found a way to turn that feature off. It is easier and more comfortable to use than my last blood pressure monitor.

We chose it for the color and seemed to have good reviews. Definitely follow the instructions and leave the unit flat on a table while its doing its thing, i think some of the negative reviews about over inflation and in accurate results were from the unit not being flat on a table, i tried to use it while holding it on my lap 1 time and it inflated to 300 and almost blew my arm off lol. But if its flat on a table next to you its worked great every time and is fairly accurate with pulse detection and its auto inflate pressure. Can program it to save results for 2 different people and can turn on/off the voice readout. Does not play any ridiculous songs while operating like another we looked at here on amazon, aint no way hahaaa
