You can shave or you can epilate. What's the difference? Epilation pulls the hair and root (usually) out -providing a smoother, cleaner, longer lasting hairless experience.
Most people fear the "pain", but when it comes down to it, there really isn't much. If you are a wimp, just take a couple of Tylenol 30 minutes prior. Compared to shaving - with cuts, nicks and irritation - epilation is a far better choice.
I have used this product for epilation for 20 years and as the years go by, the hair eventually does not grow back. So I no longer have growing hair on arms, underarms, legs etc. This product works on all body areas. No soap, water or mess. Travels neatly.
The disadvantage, these units do not last forever, I have bought at least 6 of them in 20 years. This company is the best in making epilation products, so don't trust your skin to anyone else.

I've bought this a couple of times now (over a few years) because eventually the gears have started failing, and will catch and stop when pressure is put on the business end. However it works so effectively, and I really like a corded unit that isn't dependent on a charge, that I've shrugged off its lack of longevity and bought it again. Does an amazing job while it lasts, really gets even the tiny hairs, not painful at all. (My warning: do not use a big unit like this on your face. Big ones can tear your lip right open if you miss. Use only tiny ones for the face.)

This epilator does great at it's job, removing hair. It will get all the hair. And the design makes it pretty easy to hold properly to get it all. Forgiving about the amount of pressure too.
It's all the little things that stop it from being perfect. It is corded, and has a fairly short cord. So you must use it by an outlet. It is loud! It's really hard to listen to the TV or a podcast over it. It is painful. It has a reputation for being one of the more painful models, and it's true, though it is kind of like ripping of a band-aid, it hurts, but then it's done, since you won't need many passes.

I have a lot of epilators and Emjoi are always the best with strong motor and great grab of hair, I was a bit worried about the twin head but it was gentle and very fast to get the job done, it is my equal favorite to the Emjoy Gently Gold Caress which sadly is not in production anymore I've had it for around 15 years and still going strong. so now I use this new model for 95% and Gently Gold Caress for the very difficult bits. The end results are much faster now with the new Emjoi Epilator with 72 Tweezers. Very Happy with this purchase and the fast delivery from Amazon.ðŸ‘
