We were a bit skeptical when we bought our tub, but thought we would try it and see. We are so glad we did. I am very arthritic and this has really helped my well being. We got the 4 person which fits the 2 of us with a bit of left over room. I am only 5'2" so my feet don't touch the other side. My husband is 6' and he can just barely touch the other side. The tub almost always heats to 104, and if not, it does heat to 103. It bubbles really good and is so relaxing. We placed it on our deck .....we live in Arkansas and it works well. We put 1" insulated exercise mats underneath the tub. Initially my husband had a bit of trouble getting the E90 code from coming on every day. So he started cleaning the filter every few days but the alarm would still come on and shut our tub off. So he purchased Shock Treatment (on Amazon) and now he changes the filter every 3 weeks and this keeps the E90 error message away. He only puts shock treatment in once a week and that is the only treatment he uses to keep the tub clean and the chlorine level where it needs to be. He checks it with the water test kit a couple times a week. This also keeps the alkaline, PH and water/calcium hardness where they are supposed to be.
I use the tub almost everyday and it helps me immensely. It doesn't take my pain away but it really relieves it. Our first cover ripped the first couple of weeks we had it, so we called Intex and their customer service is excellent and they sent a new one right away. We are really happy with our purchased. We know that the rub will probably only last a few years, but for the money we are very happy with the value. We have had our tub for 4 months.

Here are some conclusions after two months of use. I'll start with Cons: 1) This hot tub does not hold heat well. If it is about 40F outside, the water temperature will drop from 104 to 96 in an hour. That's with our hot tub under a patio roof, well protected from wind, and with foam tiles under it. If it's 60F outside - from 104 to about 99. So plan for a maximum use of 1 hour at a time. 2) There are no jets per se: there is a soft plastic "tube" inside at the bottom going around the entire hot tub. Air from the pump unit blows through this tube, which has small holes in it. That's the "170 jets". Really just bubbles rushing up, not directional, not controllable. 3) The bubbles are LOUD. If you plan to watch TV while in the hot tub, you will need subtitles, unless you don't have neighbors and can crank the TV volume all the way up. Split between Pro/Con: 1) It is wired only for 110V, so heat/air pump is weak and thus takes long time to heat up and loses heat quickly. But convenient since you can plug into any regular GFCI outlet (just make sure to use a quality extension cord if you need to), complete plug and play. Pros: 1) It is a temporary hot tub at a fraction of the regular hot tub cost. If you put it for the winter and replace with an above ground pool for the summer, it is a great option. 2) Only buy 6-person, 290 gallon version. It has enough room to stretch and is deep. With included light, powerful bubbles and plastic head pillows it feels if not luxurious then sensibly comfortable. Lastly, not regarding this particular hot tub probably, but good luck managing the water PH...compared to a regular pool it is a hassle, still can't figure it out. Was it worth the money? Absolutely, but my first statement was "wow, it would be so awesome having a real one!"

Seems like decent quality. After month of use (4-5)times it does the job. It's smaller than expected 2-3 adults with the 6 person model. I wish the heat system and sanitizer could work at the same time. Setup is easy. Take about an hour including filing it up. About 24 hours to heat up to 104. Once at temp the deluxe model hods temp ok. I haven't figured out the schedules properly to maintain chlorine level and heat.

Easy to setup, performs better than expected. The bubble action is very relaxing however it does cool off the spa after about 45 minutes or so. We've had it for just over a month, we've added a little salt once and change the filters weekly.
You can get a second use out of some filters after you rinse them.
I love it and the value makes it that much better. We use it almost every single evening before going to bed.
