I have used these scrubbies for years. They have 'grab' but never leave a scratch on anything. They're a woven plastic of some sort. The weave prevents them from being great at sopping up messes, but for dish washing they can't be beat.

Bought these on recommendation of a professional cleaner and I love them. I really like a clean sponge and was going through lots of them because the green scrub sponges break down so quickly. These are great - they don't scratch and they really get things clean and they don't break down. Throw it in the dishwasher every so often and they are super clean. Great price! I have already saved money by not having to replace so many sponges.
