We butchered our steer last fall, and he had the most beautiful long shiny coat, so we decided to keep the hide and tan it ourselves to use as a living room rug or fancy topper for the bed. Very easy to use with thorough instructions, not to mention, the hide turns out flexible and malleable so that further working of the hide is easy and it turns out great!

Used this on a buck hide that was very thick and it worked great. I don't have much experience with tanning hides yet, but this seems to do a good job. The best part is the customer service at Advance Tanning Solutions. Since I don't know what I am doing yet I ran into a few rough spots and they where so helpful! I dont leave many reviews, but I made sure to review this because their customer service was so good. If you are new to tanning hides, I would recommend this 100%
