It's very handy, but there is a bit of a learning curve. It kept me safe in the sense that I didn't have to climb a ladder to reach the upper limits in the stairwell. Yeah, I'd recommend it, and actually have done.

I have a tree carving much taller than me and every couple years I put sealant on it. Ladders are a no due to the way the ground is unless someone is holding it. With a telescoping pole and this attachment with a brush, I was able to get it done no problem without a ladder. The only thing I don't like is finding a brush that properly fits in it.
