Decent light has two brightness modes. Not a spotlight on either mode like the listing pic suggests but more for ambiance. Im going to get one more to use on my two patio heaters that go un-used most of the year. Doesn't close completely around the patio heater pole, but fits snug enough that it doesn't/shouldn't slide down. I also just lay it flat on the bar near my grill area that's super dark and it provides a decent amount of light when it bounces off the house and wooden fence. Pics looks super dark, but it does look better in person.
