This was a gift for an 8 year old. The cards upon a quick scan appeared in pristine condition. The outer box had a slight dent in one corner. There were a few duplicates. But the rare card was right on top and child was super excited about getting one.

It was what was advertised. It's definitely a solid starter set, minus energy cards. There were a couple of holos. and there were a few repeats, but not that many, and a lot of repeats had different artwork of the pokemon, so it was totally fine with me. As far as I can tell, they look authentic (although I'm no expert) and the box and cards came in pristine condition. A handful of trainer cards were in there as well.
They were already opened, so keep that in mind. But I was fine with it. Overall, I'm happy with it. There were a few that my son had really wanted, so it was a good purchase for us.

I don't know anything about these, but I got it for my nephew and he was super excited when he opened the cards. He even got a very rare Charizard card or something. Once again I don't know anything about it, but apparently it was awesome:-)
