I have tried all kinds of products to help with my dry, cracked heels and I was at my limit. I tried this and was NOT disappointed! I bought the foot file that complements this product too as a bundle, and wow! My feet were baby smooth and so, so soft! It requires regular maintenance to make sure that the cracked heels don't come back, but this stuff keeps on working!
For sure a balm not a cream but pretty good on the feet

The "Bare August Foot Cream & Heel Balm Butter for Soft, Smooth & Healthy Feet - Foot Moisturizer and Callus Cream Softener to Repair Rough, Dry, Cracked Feet", is for sure more of a balm than a cream. When you scoop it up the heat of your hands or feet will turn it into more of an oil but it does moisturize.
Typically, I'll use a foot file and file down the rough spots on my feet, and then I'll take a shower to soften up the skin. When I get out I'll put a good amount of this on both feet and then put socks on and just let it sit as long as I can. I don't like sleeping with socks but if you don't mind wearing them overnight, it would probably be great. Overall, I like it and would recommend it.

I would definitely recommend this foot cream! It's very thick, so I would say the "balm" in the name is accurate. This is extremely moisturizing without being greasy. The winter has been harsh on my feet, but this product helps me keep my feet soft and smooth without simply masking the dry skin like some other creams have done.
Nice moisturizer

It's more of a balm than a cream. The consistency is kind of solid and a little gritty but then melts into a light oil. It is nice for moisturizing at first but once it soaks in it's basically gone. Minimal smell, kind of like tumeric. I am glad I ordered it though!
Softens and moisturizes

The name of this says it all - Bare August Foot Cream & Heel Balm Butter - and it's also somewhat of a contradiction. Cream, balm, and butter, all in one description. The three are completely different, but what I found is that this is more a balm or butter than a cream. It does feel oily when it goes on, so I make sure to put socks on over it or that I'm getting into bed because walking on tile isn't advised. It does absorb quickly, so that's a plus. The best thing about this is exactly what it's for - it softens and moisturizes my feet, and it does it better than most other creams and balms I've tried. My feet are soft and smooth, and the dry, cracked skin isn't a problem while using this.
