I used to only purchase the floor luster because my hardwood floors had a very dated look with lots of scratches because it was definitely an older floor. However, I saw the combo deal when I bought the floor luster and it came with the hardwood floor cleaner, so I said you know what, what the heck 🤷ðŸ½"â'€ï¸ Might as well try it out. So I bought everything together, the spray mop, the cleaners and the mop pads, and went to work as soon as it got here.
I gotta be honest, I rinsed out the mop head as instructed, and started swabbing my floor with just the cleaner in the spray bottle attachment of the mop"¦. I was immediately NOT impressed because as soon as it started drying up it started looking really really streaky and cloudy. 😣😒. However, what have I learned other than "Trust the process" as of late. So I went ahead and did a second mop down with just the hardwood cleaner. Then after much frustration I went in and started mopping with the luster. That's when I realized OH WOW 🤩!!! It was definitely a process but we'll worth it. I rinsed out the mop pad after every room and didn't step on the freshly moped floor for about 15 minutes Between each pass, and these were the results.
The floor cleaner definitely strips and cleans the wood GENTLY, Which is why I kept getting that cloudy and streaky look so the more you do it the more it cleans. The floor luster most definitely is a wax so you have to let it settle in and sit for a minute so it can harden, then you'll get that "wet" or glass top look. â˜ºï¸ i love how it came out, and hope it helps someone else!!
