I got this because I have a lot of allergies and wanted a unit that I could use for multiple applications. I had a few hiccups when I first received my ordered but customer service was prompt to correct any issues I had. Once I had it set up and running I knew I would never buy another vacuum. I have one room that is fully carpeted and five animals that are all over it. The carpet was mud brown before I vacuumed with the Prolux CTX, keep in mind I vacuum twice a week with a Hoover pet vacuum including the previous day. After making a few passes over the worst of the dirt I could see the carpet was visibly lighter. By the time I finished vacuuming it looked like I had shampooed the carpet! The amount of dirt and hair that came up after having just vacuumed the day before made me a little sick. I can believe how much got left behind with my old vacuum. I have the Storm attachment and plan to use that today. I'm so excited to see how my carpet will transform!

When package was delivered, there was some minor damage to box, when opening the bowl latch was broken looks like during shipment, everything thing else seemed ok. Contacted Prolux and they shipped out a new bowl latch. Powered up the Prolux CTX and started vacuuming carpet and it pulled up a lot more dirt than the old vacuum cleaner, somewhat embarrassing how dirty the carpet was, also after walking on the freshly vacuumed carpet it felt somewhat like new carpet, Awesome! Recently I sat through a Rainbow cleaner sales pitch (its ok got a free small air purifier lol) and after using the Prolux CTX water filtration cleaner it performed just as good at 1/3 the price! PS: the power head is nice!
Cleaning out the water bowl at first is a little discouraging, however as you get all the dirt and dust out of your home it gets easier to empty and rinse out the water bowl. Good product to help minimize dust.

This is the best vacuum I have owned by a large margin. I have a QuantumX upright which has sold me on water filtration vacuums. It does a pretty good job but this Prolux far surpasses it. I have 3 mini Aussies that live in the house and produce a lot of hair and bring in dirt through the doggie door. I love the no doggie odor with the water filtration and the ease of operation. The power head and suction raise the knap on my deep pile carpet making it feel almost new. There is a learning curb to get to the most efficient way to operate but that is the way with all things. I hope I am this happy a year from now but so far I am very impressed.

I just received this and assembled it. I absolutely love it. I bought the shampooer as well. I didn't realize how bad my Hoover wind tunnel was leaving behind. Having a little one at home who crawls everywhere I feel so much better knowing my carpet and floors are clean. I will never look back. As for the shampooer I love it. It bought my rugs back to life. 100% happy with my purchase

We just got this last night and it has destroyed our old shark vacuum. I'm concerned with these wear marks on the rubber seal next to the impeller. This was after one use, is this something to worry about?
