I started out with a 50cm target of the same foam material. I just began archery a few months ago, and the thick foam material was ideal for catching the arrows from my 25lb bow. I went from 10 meters to 15 and then settled on 20 meters for most of my shooting. Now, I want to move back to 25 and 30 meters. I'm not that good, so I went with this bigger target. Now I'm shooting a 30lb bow, and this target is ideal. It stops the arrows just fine. They protrude out the back 4 to 6 inches. One important piece of advice: also buy an arrow puller. You will need it. The thick foam really holds onto the arrow. It will be really hard to pull out the arrows with your bare hands. Seriously! Buy a puller. Otherwise, you'll get really frustrated. Bottom line: this is a fantastic bit of kit for backyard archery. When I wear this one out - I'll just get another.

Overall it is a great target, nice dense foam, the printed target is nice. But get more than one if you don't have a good backstop.
