So happy with my choice. Because I often surf photos first, I'll start by saying that the photos are meant to show how well this chair cleans up. Please read the entire review for full photo explanation.
With this whole covid pandemic, my son has been spending a ton of time with his cousins. Since they can't visit any other friends in person they've been inseparable. If hes not staying the night at their house, they're at our house. The problem is that even if I use every blanket in the house to make them a bed on the floor, they still complain of aches and pains in the morning(because they're 10... so ya know.. they're just SOOOOO old, their poor bodies can't handle it. Lol) So I started on a mission to find something that wouldnt take up too much space, could easily be stored when not in use, wouldnt deflate, or be a pain in the royal keister to set up and take down... I looked at about a ga-jillion and 2 options (and yes ga-jillion is a word... i just made it up hehehe) and eventually narrowed it down to 3 that were under $150. I went back and forth and eventually settled on this one because of its versatility and the fact that it checked all my boxes. My son uses it as an extra gaming chair for his cousins when they're over and then loves turning it into their bed for sleepovers. Plus it's so lightweight he can take it with him when he sleeps over their house. My main worry was "will it be too firm?" Well, I'm here to tell you its lovely. Imagine a little pillow top toddler bed... that's what it feels like when it's laid flat and BONUS it comes with a nice soft cylinder shaped pillow. It takes a minute to get the hang of folding it but once we figured it out we were good to go. The key is to push it all the way forward so the back touches the seat and push down firmly in order to kind of 'reset' it and start again if you want to lay it back. (like those old folding lawn chairs but these take a bit more force). As you can see in the photos, we ended up with a couple small stains on the chair the first day... don't ask how...I contacted the seller with questions about cleaning and they responded promptly and were extremely kind and thorough in making sure my questions were answered. After speaking with them, I went ahead and cleaned the stains and they came right off!!! (See photos) I was so happy with how easy it was to clean!
My favorite thing about this is how it's so lightweight that my 10 year old can fold it all up and carry it to the vehicle himself, and when its bedtime he can lay it down, pop his fitted sheet on, grab his blanket and hes good to go. (P.S. jersey fit crib sheets fit nicely and you can fold it up and set it on the seat and fold it right into the chair to carry it) No more fussing with air mattresses. This chair has stolen my heart. Lol

My son always has people stay the night and this makes for a quick bed. Him and his buddies love it

I've recently be working on my habits, to help curb my insomnia. One of the things was to spend less time on my bed, when not sleeping. Times like when taking a break between work and making dinner, reading before bed, if I'm I can't sleep in the middle of the night, etc.

I bought this chair, so I could have a cozy place to hang in my room, that wasn't my bed. I have a small space between my closet and bed and this chair fits perfectly. It's really comfy and I can choose to have the seat folded up or folded down for more of a chaise feel. The pillow is perfect for back support.

The only con is that it took a bit to figure out how to adjust the back. There's a bit of a trick to it. But once it's set it's stable at that setting.

I live the floor life and own a few floor recliners already. I personally prefer the slightly rougher material that this chair is made of because it is more durable than the softer fabric on other chairs. my cats love it and enjoy clawing their way up it, but not a tear to be found yet. I do try to cover it with a blanket to stop them from using it as a scratching post. I love putting it all the way down and sleeping on it for naps, and I enjoy it both with the leg rest out and with it doubled up to be a taller chair. I like the little pillow for my naps but also as a foot rest when I don't have the legs all the way out. I'm about 5'4 and fit easily with my feet still on the foot rest when it's all the way out. A taller person would probably still have to use the little pillow to rest their feet. It'll tip over when I have it out at a 120 degree angle and accidentally sit on the reclining part, but it's about a 5 inch fall and that's my own fault for not paying attention.

Works just as advertised. Only complaint is the right arm can come out of socket pretty easily with a little force
