I was not aware that the straps were elastic which was a great surprise. I've never been a fan of having to buckle shoes like this. The elastic makes it easy to slip on and off. The toe part is narrower than I expected but it's not terrible. Again the strap at that part being a bit more elastic makes it fit better. Over all I like the shoe and hope it holds up and lasts a while without much wear and tear.
