I don't like the fact that it's sticky on both sides. also, it sticks really well so I think if I tried to remove it, it would rip the sofa. I guess it's there forever now.

My cat is smart he now look for other places to scratch that does have tape, and we have sofa cover that he move out the way to get to the sofas and only does these things when im at work, but the tapes do work

I got a new couch. I didn't want my 3 cats tearing it up, which they certainly would do. I put this stuff on every corner, every spot they showed interest in. Months later, they cats have given up and don't even bother or look at the couch. The tape is very clear, and you don't even notice it. The price is great too and they send you a lot. Overall it worked out well for me. I bought another batch recently to protect my new chair :)

It has worked on my cats, they don't try to scratch that area.
But you know how smart cats are; they are trying to scratch above the sticky area where I did not cover it. However, they grew bored because I covered the area they most liked.
But cats are smarta$$ and they know how to work around anything, if they were made into humans they would take over the world with how smart they are. However, thankfully, they have left my sofa alone.
It works, and it gets peeled off pretty easily. However, the only con is, to tie your hair back before you bend near your sofa for anything. It's ripped my hair out a little. Meaning, it is sticky!
