This can connect to an Xbox series X controller just fine, but the PS5 controller is not connecting for me and I've followed all instructions available. I wish that there were instructions on what to do if you're having an issue connecting specific controllers. Other than this the connection is smooth and I find no issues using the Xbox controller for my Switch. I sit about 7.5ft from the TV to my couch, my JoyCons always had an issue with connection so using the 8BitDo has been useful for me.

I bought this to use my ps5 controller with my switch. Way better value than buying a Nintendo Switch Pro controller. Although I've only tried it while docked, it works like a charm. Very easy to setup. I rated "Sleep Mode" as a 1 because I don't think this product has that functionality. I don't see a sleep mode mentioned anywhere on the box or the paper that came with it. Not sure what the "sleep" mode is referring to, but my ps5 controller turns off just fine when I turn off my switch so there is no waste of battery. overall great product, just rated that one part low because I don't think this product supports it.
