Definitely not flimsy. Each block sounded good - though the blue block seemed a bit muted to me compared to the others. Not sure if that's unique to my set or what. Product is exactly how it appears in the photo. Used for a live gig and even my drummer, who is not a woodblock guy, enjoyed using it. I liked that I could have half the blocks turned toward the drummer and the other half spun in the opposite direction so I could play them from lead vox position. Well-made. Just make sure to tighten-down well if someone is going to really wail on on the blocks.

Use for my band. Nice stand. Smaller blocks dont give much sound but the yellow block is great. Holds my cowbell and tambourine with a separate extension I purchased from Amazon. I may buy other blocks to use with this stand. Price is good
