I took these backpacking and in the first few miles of a 10 mile hike, my feet were getting wet from recent rain. So, I put these on and wore them for 8 miles of rough terrain. Near the end I finally did tear a small hole in one with a sharp branch. But only after they kept my feet dry through ankle deep streams, slogging through mud and steep, slippery, tough climbs. They should not have lasted anywhere near as long as they did in that environment. They out lasted my (supposed) high quality rain suit. If I can't patch the small hole I made, during the many fallen trees I had to climb over, I will be buying another pair. Probably will buy another one either way.

Very water proof and well made but the buttoned strap at the top is a bit too loose so they slide down my calves a bit too much. I guess it's my skinny legs but it would be nice if there was an option to strap them even tighter.

The product was effective and stylish but they were not as durable as I thought they should be. A hole formed on the seam of the right toe after wearing them for only a couple of hours. Maybe I should have gotten a bigger size but you get what you pay for. They serve their purpose and I was pleased for the money!
