My Grand-daughter love art and Gingerbread House!

This was my first time making a gingerbread house and I researched many types before purchasing (full disclosure, I was going to purchase one in person at Target, but they'd sold out by the time I decided to buy one). I chose this one partially because it was cute (and my youngest niece loves unicorns), but also because the reviews as compared to reviews for others I'd looked at were much better. For example, no complaints of breaking and no complaints about not having enough materials. I would agree. We had a tiny break in the roof, but nothing catastrophic and easily covered up. We had enough materials to make it.

Did it come out perfectly? No, but I blame the construction crew (me). :-) I wish I had waited more than 15 minutes after gluing the walls together to continue on -- waiting several hours would have resulted in better success, I think.

I was happily surprised to discover the gingerbread and the decorations were quite tasty. Well, not the 2 little presents -- those were hard and we tossed them. But all else was very tasty.

I don't know that I'd ever build another one, but if I did, this is the company I'd look for purchasing from (if not the same kit).

I bought this to make with my grandkids but after everyone having the flu over the Christmas season my husband and I decided to build it. It smells good, looks good with a few minor flaws but nothing that the frosting can't cover! They give you plenty of frosting and decorations!! We have one more to build but I am gonna save that to make with my 9 yr old grandson! Btw, we frosted all the pieces and assembled the following day as some people instructed and it worked good!

First starters let me begin by saying that I purchased this gingerbread house kit to use for Valentine's Day and purchased all my own candy and embellishments. Even though the item was marked all over "Fragile" it's a essentially cookie at the mercy of the carrier. So almost all of the pieces were cracked in half. Am I upset? Not in the least. See when I buy these kits I dont expect these to be competition worthy gingerbreads. I buy them to spend a few hours having a ball with my child. Does she care that it has cracks? Nope. We get sticky and make a huge mess while eating way more candy then actually gets put onto the house. It's FUN!!! What I can say about this gingerbread is that is smells fantastic! The sugar accessories are absolutely adorable and perfect for a unicorn loving little girl. We have carefully put them away to be used on our next Christmas themed gingerbread. So bottom line is if you want a perfect gingerbread product then I suggest you make yours from scratch. If you want to spend some quality time with your child or just want to have fun yourself then buy this kit. It's adorable! Also if you want to "cheat" and make your life easier glue the structure with hot glue and then cover over with the frosting. 🤫

Kids loved it
