Fast and easy setup

I used these for an outdoor event recently. Set up the pans with the pads and water and they got hot right away. All we had to do is put in the food pans straight from the oven and had hot food for all without having to use the Sterno type setup which was especially helpful since the day turned out to be windy and didn't have to worry about flames in the wind.

They aren't as good as the real flame heaters but get the job done, especially on a windy day. There is no danger of them toppling over and starting a fire. However, they do not stay hot for more than 45 minutes or so. They'd be good for foods like rice, mashed potatoes or steamed/sauteed veggies, but not really for meats or poultry. They simply don't get or stay hot enough.
