My son kept seeing a commercial for this and kept pointing it out when it would come on. Decided to order it with some leftover birthday money. He was so excited when we opened it! My only drawback is that he's a little too small for the water part. It makes a big mess. And you really do need to put ice cubes in the cold water to make Lightning change color. But overall he really enjoys it. I just have to put a towel down under it ;)

My sweet nephew (2.5 years old) is obsessed with the car wash. He loves taking his trucks and tricycle outside and washing them down; and he LOVES the song by Rose Royce. This toy was a huge hit with him. He loved the color changing car, the different drawers for water, and the details on the ramps. He gasses his cars up all the time at the gas pump. When moving from one room to the next, he left his little bowl of ice cream behind in favor of safely moving his car wash instead. This was a great purchase. It's even better because there are so few pieces with it. Most other car wash toys I found came with so many small pieces that would have inevitably ended up at the bottom of a toy chest. The ramps come off this toy, and that's about it. The drawers haven't separated from it yet. I love the way the water catches in the drawers as well! He always plays over a towel, but it was a lot less messy than I was expecting. He now has a rainy day car wash so he never has to take a day off from his favorite thing!
