More Mild Flavored than Graham Cracker, but Still Good. Pairs Well w/Strawberry.

I got this case of ready made pie crusts. A case is a lot (12), but if you attend a lot of picnics or need quick pie shells for a bake sale, then getting a case makes sense.
These are made from Shortbread. I typically make my own Graham Cracker crust, but I have used the Ready-to-Use in the past. I like Graham Cracker crust, so I figured the Shortbread would be good too. It is, but the flavor is definitely more mild.
The Shortbread crust pairs well with strawberries. I made a strawberry filling and it reminds me of a pie version of strawberry short cake.
I haven't tried a pudding/cream pie in one yet, but I assume it will still be good.
The crust texture is good, but it did seem to crack a little more than the standard Graham Cracker crust. That could've just been my filling though.
I did get one shell that was cracked a bit in transit, but surprisingly it wasn't that bad from it's journey and still would've been usable. I; however, used this pie shell just to taste and let my kids try chunks of it too. My youngest ate some pieces of the crust in her yogurt. All 3 of my kids liked the crust and they especially enjoyed the strawberry pie that I had actually made in another shell.
