I needed a new edger so I purchased this one. So far the edging along the sidewalk and driveway has been so-so. The string keeps breaking and I have to stop and manually extend the string. Is this the "˜end of the world?' no. Just annoying.

Product was easy to assemble, just 3 parts that had to be placed. Completed in about 5 minutes. And no I didn't read the instructions, as intuitive assembly is always my benchmark for a good product design. Second, I took it out and immediately started trimming my lawn (my gas powered trimmer died for a 3rd time, which is why I went electric) and I was really impressed with the RPM's/Torque of this compact electric trimmer. I've got caterpillar grass (poor man's St. Augustine) and it's as tough as nails, but this trimmer cut through it no sweat. I have to admit, I had low expectations, because typically electric lawn and garden tools are just underpowered compared to gas powered devices, but this trimmer is legit! While I wouldn't want to trim the South Forty with it on a 2Ah battery, for my small yard, it will work great. This bundle came with two batteries, charger, and 8 spools of nylon line. I consider that a solid value for $79. I had already purchased the Soyus leaf blower, and was real pleased with the performance there as well. And it also came with two 2Ah batteries. So now I've got both tools, four batteries, two chargers, and everything I need to maintain the yard. Let's see how they hold up over time.....very pleased so far. Soyus claims they've been designing/mfg. garden tools for over 30 years, and I have to say it shows in their products. I'm impressed. And I'm a tool snob, so it takes a lot to impress me.....

This is the best weed wacker. Super lightweight and works like a dream. Seriously though my favorite thing is never having to mess with the string. Somehow it just keeps sending more out, two inches at a time. I never have to deal with it. It's super easy to open and replace string cartridge.

I purchased this Soyus 20V string trimmer about a month ago. It came in timely manner, the box was undamaged and the trimmer was partially intact but was easy enough to put together. The trimmer came with two, (2) batteries and they were both charged. I have used the string trimmer once a week since buying it and it works great! It is lightweight, easy to maneuver and it has three (3) trimmer settings which I have found very useful. My yard is large and the batteries last one hour before needing recharging. The price for the trimmer was also extremely competitive so a win-win for me. I highly recommend the Soyus 20 V cordless string trimmer. Subsequent to this purchase I bought the Soyus 20V 22" cordless hedge trimmer and I am just as happy with that purchase.

Good value. Sturdy and well made for the price point. The handles are a little on the short side, but the design of the tool end more than made up for it. The large claw is amazing. As these are aluminum, I wouldn't recommend them for in ground gardening. I use heavier weight tools for that and keep them in the garage. These are just perfect for large pots, containers, and raised beds. I like having the aluminum set because these I can wash, dry, put away in the house, and never have to worry about them rusting.
