Got this for my husband since he has really sensitive skin on his beard area. Using this to whip up a good lather has made his shaving experience much more enjoyable and less painful. Only downside to it is that the stand needs to be a bit taller. The brush still sits in the bottom of the cup even when it's hanging from the stand. The cup is easy to clean with it being metal and the brush is very soft.

Brush is soft, but with required spine. Bowl does retain some heat. And the set looks great. Definitely get the upgraded version. The stand looks so much better.
