This is the real thing. If you've been to S. Korea and fell in love with kim chi, you'll love this. It's very hot/spicy, though not as "fire-eating hot" as some you can get in S. Korea. A little bit goes a long way, which is good, as it is rather expensive.

I like the size of the pieces of kimchi but it is not very much kimchi for the price. With that said, right now all food items cost more than in years passed. This kimchi has a nice flavor and is not spicy. I add it to soup cups with spices to make a cheap soup cup taste good.
