Even the discounted price is too much without improvements made. It works but the pump must be "re-primed" every time it shuts off/on by disconnecting it from the base and reattaching it while the pump is on. As others have mentioned, the base is too small- dries up rather quickly. Better yet, the entire unit should be larger. Although they show placement of this unit inside a larger bird bath, it should be marketed on its own merits. Assembly was very simple. The water flow, when it works, is great- more than sufficient to keep the water from going stagnant or becoming a mosquito haven.

Looking for affordable ways to spruce up my landscape this summer I stumbled across this super cute 3 tiered solar fountain. it makes for a wonderful bird bath and has attracted all sorts of them over the past couple of months.
Very simplistic design, it's small and extremely lightweight making it very easy to assemble and set up. The sun had it charged up really quickly; so I had it up and running same day.
The panel has a really long cord making it versatile.
It holds a lot of juice; I have yet to come into a scenario where it wouldn't work due to lack of power. The pump is surprisingly strong and keeps the water flowing quite nicely.
For $25 I find this to be an amazing value and a great addition to any landscape upgrade.

It was cute the first couple of weeks then the motor stopped. I cleaned it but it doesn't work. The pump is a joke Cost too much for how long it last. Wish I could return it

The media could not be loaded. Long cord, easy to setup, hand size solar panel..works nicely in a bird bath..might add rocks to base for stability in birdbath later.
