Bought these for my simplisafe cameras and they work like a charm. I actually used them on the solar panel charger I bought for the camera since I used those in the meantime. The twist is metal so it won't crack and so is the base. Decent weight but easy to install with a power drill.
If you are using a cable with your outdoor simplisafe cameras, this is a must have

I set up my elderly parents with simplisafe and I installed the outdoor camera with a power cable but the cable kept making the camera slide down on the magnet mount. No matter what we did, we could not get the camera to stay facing up if the cable was plugged into it.
This mount was the fix. Much cheaper than the official simplisafe wall mount and the camera does not slide down anymore.
Parents are happy so I'm happy. Good product.
