Not too hard to assemble; even with arthritic hands and how I can't use tools, I got it together in about 20 minutes, which is record time for me! They include a Phillips head screwdriver for the 4 screws it takes to put it together. It's nice and sturdy. Two of the middle shelves easily slide out in case you have something really thick to store but there is plenty of room on these shelves for lots of papers and folders. I would buy again.

Bought the mesh shelf for extra storage and it works perfectly. Doesn't take up too much space and allows plenty of storage with the 5 shelves. It also looks great and was simple to put together. Makes my desk look a lot more organized by getting rid of the stacks of papers everywhere.
