This window well cover was purchased to retro fit an existing "escape" window in our basement. We measured carefully to find the exact size that would work. It arrived in what seemed very minimal packing, but the product was perfectly intact. It was easy to install, we did not even need the provided clips as the frame sits upon a large wood base already constructed. The material is beautiful, clear and very sturdy. It might seem a little "pricey" but it looks so sharp in our application. Very happy with this item.
