I think it will do the job.

I hate flossing and my dentist recommended that I try a water pic to help get my teeth clean. I tried the water-pit brand but four d them very noisy. I read a ton of reviews and many pointed to Philips being quieter than the other top contenders. I first bought a Phillips countertop model and it worked great but took up more space than I wanted. I then bought this rechargeable model and it works great. I use it each night before bed. The battery life lasts for weeks!. The water flow is as powerful as the larger units and you don't have the hose to fight. It holds enough water to do all your teeth and is very easy to fill. Like any other water flosser you have to stay over the sink and keep your mouth mostly closed and cool the excess water into the sink as you floss. You know its working when even after you brushed your teeth you see tiny particles dropping into the sink as you floss :-)

Four stars for being above average - it's an operational water flosser, better than many. It has a powerful enough stream, a large enough reservoir, and convenient controls. What it does NOT have: no carrying case of any kind, for device or accessories. You can travel with it (although it's rather bulky) - you just have to throw it in something to protect it and not lose the tips or charging cord.

Speaking of charging cord, that's the only way to charge it. Through a charging port in the back, covered by a rubber flap covering the port - props for using a USB-C port though. No charging stand provided or possible - actually Philips' MO with other even high end products like their standard Prestige shaver - no charging stand provided. You have to plug it in periodically to recharge and wait for it to charge - then store the charging cord somewhere until you need to use it in the next few days, whenever it runs out of power during use. Every. Single. Time. For a device that might be used a couple of times a day, that might end up being rather frequent. Or you could just keep it plugged in, with a cord running out the back that needs to be disconnected with each use, tangled up in whatever other devices you might have plugged in on your bathroom counter. They inexplicably provide a charging stand for their Sonicare toothbrushes, used just as frequently, otherwise you would be left with a plug-in version there as well.

So 4 stars for function - it works well as a power flosser. Less than that for no charging stand, but time will tell on the necessity. So generously 4 stars, which would have been 5 minus this flaw, even with some sort of minimal continuous charger. Recommended, with the caveat of "depending on how long a charge lasts."

This is an awesome portable water flosser. First of all the water pressure is at the same level as the one in your dentist's office and if you use it correctly it removes 99% of plaque and food residue between your teeth and around your gums. I can't stress how much better this is. I have a lot of dental restorations with five implants. Previously I had to use proxabrushes and floss. This completely eliminates both of them. It comes with two heads. One is general and a second one does multiangle cleaning. The buttons are well designed and sturdy-one for power, intensity and deep or regular cleaning mode. Deep cleaning is so powerful that you have to be careful or you'll hurt your gums. The water refill is easy due to a pop-up hinge on the bottle which means you don't have to keep unscrewing it. This is important because due to the small size tank you'll have to refill after every use, and the port makes it easy. Inserting the heads requires some attention as there is a single groove that you have to line the head up to slide into or it won't fully seat and will splash water so pay attention when you first get it. The warranty is for two years and another six months are added if you register it. This unit excellent and $20 cheaper than the competing Waterpik one. The only thing I would have liked would be a travel case which isn't included. You can't go wrong purchasing this unit and it has three different colors to cater to all tastes.
