because this opens to the top you might have trouble using it if you don't have a lot of counter top with nothing above it. Overall cleans the dishes like it should and dries them. My mom seems to like it at her old age of 79. She can only use one side of the sink now though because it has to sit on top of the other side. The ability to flip a switch to run the water is nice.

Update from original review (4/11/23):
I reached out the customer service team and their representatives promptly sent me a new machine as the dish washer was still under warranty. It took less than a week to receive it, and it was once again very easy to setup. Their representatives have been great at following up about any issues or errors. The new machine has been working great and I have not experienced any issues so far. I will provide an additional update in a few weeks if anything does change, but so far the dish washer is working perfectly.

The dishwasher worked wonders in the beginning. It cleaned absolutely everything to perfection. Then by month 3 the problems started. I purchased this washer in August of 2022. Not even a year has passed and it has consecutively leaked. These aren't small leaks but actual water flowing out of the back and the front of the machine and onto my floor. I have it on my kitchen counter and have had to place a rag under it because nothing stops it from leaking. It's already caused water damage to my cabinets. I thought the small runoff holes might have been clogged, but it wasn't the case after splashing water down each. I even washed the machine with vinegar to see if this would solve the issue, and it hasn't. But the issue has only gotten worse. Today it finally gave out. I went to put a few dishes to wash and received an E1 error message. I restarted the machine and even unplugged it for a bit and the issue persists. I'm noticing there is no inflow of water. I have my machine directly hooked to my cold water valve. When I check the valve it is open and functioning properly. This is with me cleaning it weekly to maintain freshness and proper function - and cleaning its filter daily. I did reach out to their customer service and will update this review as soon as they provide a solution.
