Simple platform for laptop. I have to rotate my steering wheel so it fits better, but it doesn't lie flat, it angles up a little. When I place my laptop on it, it does levels out. It's long enough to fit my computer, but not long enough for a sheet of paper, nor is it smooth to write on; but it would be great for a notebook.

for what i wanted it for it is great. just be careful not to put things on it like food and drink and them accidently lift it from the bottom as it will unlock from the wheel. had to push my seat all the way back to use but no big deal.

Purchased for my 2015 Kia Sorento and I had to wedge it on real good over my wheel cover but it works! Could fit more flat but I'm sure that's because of my cover as well. My MacBook Air fit perfectly on it while resting on my steering wheel.

I have three of these now because I like them so much. I keep one at work for the work truck, and I keep one in each of my vehicles. I tend to keep them in the seat pocket behind the seat. HINT: some vehicles you will need to turn the wheel so the top is at the bottom in order for it to fit. Very sturdy.
