Fantastic small lift! Master mechanic of 15+ years here and this lift is great. 2' doesnt sound like a lot, but it is plenty of room to do whatever you need to. I too was skeptical about the height but seeing it in action shows that it's enough. Super easy to setup, holds weight (per capacity) just fine, and super sturdy. You can disconnect the lines while its holding the vehicle without any leaks and move the motor away while you work. I do wish it had more than 2 locking points for more versatility, but hey, it still does just fine!

if you do any of your own vehicle work... you will really appreciate this lift.. i have used it under 4 mini coopers now while enging work / brakes / tire rotation.. sure beats the heck outta getting a jack under an already LOW to the ground car. this has saved me hours of lifting and blocking the car up in the air... its easy... place plug it in .. and push the button.. up we go.. done ... yup push the button and down we go. they are a bit heavy to move but its worth the effort for the ability to work all around and under the car with ease. dont need 2 ut i would buy it again if i needed

So, i really took my time putting this together and making sure I didn't screw anything up"¦ so it took over an hour, but it doesn't have to, i was just super nervous. It comes with almost everything you need. GET HYDRAULIC FLUID- iso32 is fine. I had to run to the store, which slowed me down. Everything else came with it.
This thing lifted and lowered my car with ease (3500lbs). And because i was getting under it, i wanted to make sure it was secure so i gave it a good shake while it was in the air"¦ did not budge! Felt like trying to shake a brick wall (probably don't encourage that test, rather stupid, really). But, i was impressed and got under there and changed the oil/oil filter. Plenty of room, and i am kind of fat. Love these things! Note, they are heavy as balls, so make sure you are prepared for that, and think about that when deciding where/how to store them.
But seriously, really cool, super easy. I'm just looking for other reasons to lift my car now, just for fun. I do suggest watching some videos online, there are some helpful ones if you search the product name.

OK first I thought it was too big to work with my 911 and my Boxster but turns out works like a charm. I did not use the thread locker I use teflon tape and I kept it off the tip of the hydraulic lines worked like a charm I did have to go back and tighten one line and top off the fluid but what an awesome tool it's gonna make my life a lot easier. Love it!!!

I guess they've about gotta be that heavy to be as solid as they are - but man are they kind of a pain to move around. They weight close to 100lbs EACH side so you've got to be careful if you're working in a tight environment like my two car garage. I nearly dropped one on the car the other day. These are not things you're just going to slide around easily and carry over to another bay. They're HEAVY and kind of cumbersome to move around.
Don't get me wrong though - they WORK great and the function of them is pretty much second to none. They are super steady and I don't have any problem fitting underneath on my creeper with them in the air. The car is solid and doesn't move much at all. I've used them several times now and feel like they're reliable enough to count on.
There's some guy on YouTube who's attached some mini roller ball wheels onto the bottom sides to slide them around with. I may try that as they are really kind of a PITA to get set up.
Don't get me wrong though - they WORK great and the function of them is pretty much second to none.
