I have had inexpensive laser pointers purchased fun pet stores before and almost every single one requires holding the button down to keep the laser light on. While this might work for a minute or two, any length of time holding a button down begins to hurt my thumb/ fingers.
This one does NOT require holding the button down (ahh relief!) so I can pay with the kitties for extended time with them and not feel the pain in my hands, and with a new kitten in the house, the need for those "extended times" has increased. I now have one for each hand!
I also love the fact that this has a flashlight and a little uv light. The flashlight is pretty bright for its size and the uv light comes in handy for checking dollar bills.
And to make it all easy too not deal with batteries, I love the USB connection for charging. So easy!

It's super bright and works exactly as I wanted. I didn't even realize it has different shapes on the laser that you can change when I bought it. My cats and dogs all love it. It's also nice that it's not just a laser, it's a flashlight as well!
