These chips came sealed, the container is in excellent shape, and the chips tasted fresh - in fact, everything looked just like the picture on the product page. My daughter and I tasted the chips, and she said that they reminded her of plantain chips. They remind me of potato chips but with an interesting, delicious aftertaste that I couldn't quite put my finger on. The third ingredient is salt, and I was surprised that I barely tasted any salt at all; however, that's not a concern as these chips will taste good with two of my favorite dips: salsa and french onion dip.
The product page also mentioned that the container is reusable, and it definitely is. After it's empty (which won't take long), the container will be easy to clean with hot soapy water, and the dark green lid with the handle will make it easy to carry contents anywhere. The chips are more expensive than potato chips, of course, but it's a fun food item to try and can be so addictive! I prefer them over other chips, as they go so well with so many things. If you're looking for something unusual - these are a great snack!

Living in Hawaii spoiled me with having easy access to good taro chips. Now that I live in Alaska, finding such a product is practically impossible. These taro chips taste great, have an amazing price point, and I like how it comes in a generous size. Competition brands on Amazon are more than double for price per oz. I wish they tasted a little fresher and weren't so broken up (likely from shipping), but overall, I love them and will continue to buy them until a better deal on Amazon comes along.
