Being a retired computer guy and an industrial engineer I happened to test these with an old Rockwell tester for strength. Same component as the brand I paid $9 for a single bolt, and received four of these for just under $12 total. Th difference was the single bolt came in a plastic store rack mountable packaging with an opening for a hook like you'd find in an auto parts store. The package containing four bolts arrive in a plain plastic wrap you'd expect to find cheap screws in. I used these to replace the dreaded General Motors side mount battery posts which are made of lead coated with zinc. The originals are softer, and from being screwed in, and batteries being changed out they become frayed, stripped, and worn out making for a bad contact - the added bonus is you can attach accessories directly to the battery as well as have a nice secure contact grip point with the battery terminals.

What can I say, I am not a fan of GM side post batteries but I have one and needed to run wires for an amplifier. This post is a great solution, not only does it hold in the battery better than the original stud it allows me to clamp plenty of additional wires to the battery.
