This duty belt back support is comfortable to wear and easy to use. It supports the back and helps distribute weight. I would have given it five stars instead of 4 if it wasn't for the fact that you need to use an inner, velcro, liner belt with this back support. I'm not a fan of the inner liner belts because with time they ruined everything and loose the ability to hook and hold.

I have been useing it now for a few months. It actually helps and doesn't move around on my duty belt. I had to adjust it and place it on the belt to be in the exact spot I want. Once done and on it helps with my back pain.

Good quality. The basketweave pattern looks good and all the stitching looks well done. It's semi-rigid and will conform after a couple uses and does well for me dispersing the weight of the belt a bit. Good product for the price compared to your mainstream name brand tactical companies.

Please realize that you probably won't be looping the two belt keepers around your inner belt. The pad might stick to your duty belt's velcro, but it's near impossible to have your duty belt on and feed the keepers through the slot in the pad, under your inner belt, and back out the other slot. It's just too tight of a fit and gets worse if you have any gear back there without being a contortionist. The keepers are really just to secure the pad to your duty belt, just like it looks in the pictures. You can run your belt keepers under your inner belt like normal except where the pad sits. The pad has the velcro hooks on one side and the velcro loops on the other so you can face it whichever way you need to interface with the hook/loop on your inner belt. Without it, you might find the back of your waist pull down lower than your duty belt when you bend over. The hook/loop strips are narrow at only about an inch. I wish it were thicker to have better bite with the inner belt velcro as I can feel the velcro give a bit when I bend over to pick something off the floor. Overall I prefer this and be able to have some keepers secure my duty belt to inner belt as opposed to the normal belt pads that just friction fit and the only thing holding on the duty belt is the buckle.

Makes driving a lot more comfortable and I stick the harder case items like my flex cuffs pouch in between the belt and the brace, takes the pressure off your body.
