This is Well made and I love the Clear Vinyl Window Panel to Carry. I like the top handle to carry. Because it comes Folded up, there are crease marks that are doubtful they will settle down because of the sturdy Felt used. So if you are looking for perfect aesthetics a lot and not just the Function; this is not for you. I will not leave this out for Display, I am a Decorator "¦this is to keep 1/2 of my Hat Collection stacked and DUST FREE!
Major Point "¦ the AD is not misleading because it Reads "¦About 17 inches Diameter. Measuring is an Exact Science"¦ with the Outer Lip of the Frame of this Circular Container it is 16.25 inches. The Inner Surface Area where you will place your Hats is
16 inches. BE AWARE - a 17 inch Diameter Hat will not fit Level in this!
The sides of the Brim of your Wide Hat will curl up.
The Ad uses the word " ABOUT" so this is Acceptable somewhat. Because I am a Quality Control type, I would have used 16 instead because that's the Max width for a Hat to fit.

I am a hat person. I wear hats year round and have amassed quite a collection. I have two of these cases. So instead of pulling down a stack of hats from a shelf and reorganizing them and putting them back, I just grab this case and pop it right back up. Love that it is lightweight and has a handle and a window. As far as travel, it's soft sided, ok to carry carefully by car. Most useful for storing IMO.
