I'm a little disappointed considering all of this product's 5-star reviews. The dried garbanzo beans arrived clean with even color and plumped up well during their overnight soaking. But they cooked unevenly: about half were fine, another quarter needed more time simmering, and the other quarter had started to break apart or already had. (I handled all of them because I was removing the skins.) So, not great. At just under $4.00 for 1 lb., it's not worth it if they're going to be as inconsistent as the cheaper ones from the grocery store. Too bad as the flavor of the ones that cooked up nicely was very good.
