Countryman Coatings - 100% Silicone Roof Coating - Restore Your Roof in a Day - Seal Leaks, Cracks, Seams, Penetrations - Adheres to All Surfaces (1 Gallon, Black)

Key features
- •RESTORE, PROTECT, AND EXTEND THE LIFE OF YOUR ROOF - Countryman Coatings Silicone Top Coat can be applied via roller, brush, or spray equipment directly to: Metal, Modified-bitumen, EPDM, Smooth-surface built-up, Gravel surface built-up, Single-ply (PVC, TPO), Granulated cap sheet, Spray foam, Concrete, Acrylic coatings, Silicone coatings, Elastomeric roof coatings, Urethane coatings, and more. If your roof is aging or failing but in good structural condition, Countryman Coatings can help.
- •NO PRIMER REQUIRED - Countryman Coatings Silicone Roof Coatings have been carefully developed in-house to provide strong adhesion without a primer in most situations. Even without applying a primer, Countryman Coatings far exceed building code adhesion requirements over nearly every roof surface. This versatility makes Countryman Silicone a great RV rubber roof solution.
- •REDUCE ENERGY SPEND - Industry-leading reflectivity rating means Countryman Coatings provides reduced energy consumption and costs. Countryman Coatings Silicone Top Coat rubber roof coating reflects nearly 90% of UV rays and keeps your building cool. Reduce your building's energy usage up to 20% and save up to .50/square foot when you install our Silicone Top Coat. Traditional roofing is expensive for you and the environment; a liquid roof coating is better for both.
- •APPLICATION RATE - While the coverage rate you need will depend on your substrate, the average is 1 gallon of Countryman Coatings Silicone Top Coat per 55 square feet. Other coatings claim that they cover more square feet per gallon, but they require multiple passes. Countryman Coatings can be applied thicker - so you can apply one thick coat and be done. Countryman Coatings can serve as your Aluminum roof coating, EPDM roof coating, and Metal roof coating with less material.
- •MADE IN AMERICA – All Countryman Coatings Silicone Roof Coatings are made in America and are ready to ship to you on a moment's notice.

Okay, I'm sold on this stuff

I had a terrible leak that was causing hard downpour (rain) to drip through the roof of my porch like a faucet. I followed the instructions on this and sealed the seams first, then after it was completely dry, I went back over it with a paint roller (a nice, thick coat). I haven't had any leaking at all since then! Will definitely be back to purchase more in the near future to finish off my porch roof in preparation for hurricane season.
Great product

Was concerned about lack of application instructions at first, I was thinking ahead about does it need mixed; thinned or stirred? What nap roller pad to use, how to " clean-up"?
We'll, here's the scoop from my experience:
When opened, it was smoothly mixed, a good viscosity so no stirring or thinning necessary. It brushed on seams easily filling cracks and valleys in the existing rubberized coating with a 2" or 3" cheap brush and rolled on well with 3/8" nap roller but don't expect to clean-up or re-use either of them, and use a cheap plastic roller pan liner ($1.88), just throw them all away when finished. I was amazed how it almost self-leveled, and when done it looks like a poured-on white liquid plastic! It should protect well and looks so much better than my original roof!
I have a 23ft camp trailer that measures 7-1/2'x 15-1/2' flat roof area, 1-gallon pail covered it nicely with a little left over. All I could find on 100% silicone (hand) clean-up was vinegar or possibly isopropyl alcohol, but don't expect to salvage brushes and rollers!

My roof is a gently-sloped, commercial-style roof, some kind of EPDM or plastic or rubber, not roof shingles. It had a leak, near the joint where an addition had been made to the original structure, that was causing damage to our bedroom ceiling. I was pretty sure I knew the general area of the leak, but could not pin down the specific source. I had tried more than a dozen EPDM and other types of roof patches and also a couple of different liquid pastes and sealants, but these either didn't fix the problem or fixed it only briefly.
I came across this roof coating and the idea of 100% silicone, adhesion to different surfaces, and a thick paint-like application all seemed like what i needed.
It worked beautifully. I thoroughly cleaned the surfaces, pulled off as much of the other repair stuff as i could and painted this on. I did three coats over three days. It went on like thick paint, was self-leveling, and flowed into various crevices and seams. It dried smooth and pliable and the adhesion so far seems to be excellent, just about the way you would expect a thick paint to adhere to an appropriate surface. It left a thick, rubbery, tough, somewhat hard but still pliable surface covering about 10 square feet and eliminating the leak, wherever it was lurking. Perfect.
The material is not inexpensive, but it was less expensive than a lot of the other roof repair materials that I was buying, especially in combination (and that have now gone back to Amazon). And this product did the job in a way I consider ideal. Way better than patches.
I had been very concerned about there being no way to find and fix the leak, so the fact that this product worked was a great relief. Now I can get on to repairing the damage to my ceiling.
