Amazing for Night Play

We purchased both a green and a red lighted ball. The red is much better in my family' opinion. It's much easier on the eyes than the green one is and it's very durable. We obviously don't take a bat to it but it's perfect for playing catch once the sun goes down. We can't wait to take it camping with us next time.
Fun but annoying to turn on and off

Works as expected! Love it for playing catch at night/dusk.
Not a complaint, just a heads up, that you have to disconnect the battery to turn it off (open it up). Not the end of the world at all, but there are other brands that have power buttons. It has held up pretty well but usage has been limited.
Arrived new and in package, on time. Exactly as seller described.

Great Lights, Clumsy to Operate

Overall I like this ball a lot. In Fall, baseball practice usually ends at sunset. But my boy and his teammates often want to hang around and still play catch. This ball is perfect for that - it lets them play past sunset, and it's fun to just see the lights fly through the air. I'm inclined to buy more for other teammates as gifts just to see a bunch of these flying through the air at the same time.
My one complaint, and this is what stops it from being a five-star product, is the battery/switch situation. I bought the "switch" version which does allow it to be turned on and off without taking the battery out. From what I gather from the reviews, that's a big improvement over the previous model that didn't have a switch at all. But it's still difficult to do - the coin-twist unlocking is easy enough, but the switch is so tiny and awkwardly placed, it's hard to turn on. And replacing the battery (which is A23 btw) is also a little hard. Because of those things, I feel like it's not something you can just give to a kid and expect them to be able to do themselves, which is unfortunate because this is a device that I think kids would otherwise love.
This product would be so much better if there were a way to turn it on and off without having to open it up, and if were rechargeable instead of needing replacement batteries. I feel like both of those things would be easy enough to do - a simple recessed switch and a USB charging port on the outside of the ball would solve everything wrong with this device, and make it easier for younger kids to use without adult assistance.
TLDR: I like it a lot, but make sure you buy the "switch" version, and know that even that one still is clumsy to operate, especially for young kids.

Works good so far! Feels like a real baseball. My son likes throwing this more than a regular baseball I think because it looks neat.
Great Product

Great product for Fall ball where light is an issue. This is the second one I bought a few years ago, the original still works just have a larger team this year.
