My son and I use this fall to pitch with in the evening when it is too dark to play with a normal ball. It extends your time outside playing baseball. We have used this about 10 sessions of 30-40 pitches each with no problems so far. You can buy cheap replacement batteries on Amazon as well. Well worth the $30 to gain some extra minutes in the Fall.

Updated Review: After the company contacted us about the battery falling out, they sent us a replacement part free of charge for the battery compartment. It fixed the issue completely and now my kids have no issues with the battery part falling out. They have a lot of fun throwing this ball around all evening!
