Have not used yet, but very pretty. I tested each piece for lead and they all tested negative. Wish the regular coffee mugs came with plates too, that's why I got this set. Very nice, great quality and colors!

I got a hot chocolate maker for Christmas that fills an 8 oz. cup. The cups that came with the hot chocolate maker don't have a handle, so it can get uncomfortable holding onto a hot cup. I came to Amazon to find an 8 oz cup with a handle, and came across these. I loved the look of them, and the reviews were good, so I bought them. They're the cutest things! But they also function well"¦ just like you'd think they would. And the hole for your finger isn't too small, like many can be. I love the different colors, and mixing and matching the saucers underneath. They look great displayed on my counter, too.

The colors are nice and they feel quality in the hand. The size is enough for one small espresso pod and foam. It is not a very large cup compared with my other cups. It is in between a small espresso cup and large latte cup size. It holds 8 oz. I am cutting back on caffeine so it's perfect size for me.
The specks in the coloring are really nice and it feels like a set you would have in a diner.
I am considering getting the large plates for daily use after seeing the colors in person.
My one issue is they say made in china and for some reason when I read the description I thought they were made in Wisconsin. I'm trying to consciously support US made goods but I guess that's my fault for not reading more carefully. I would still recommend these mugs.
