These strips do not seem any larger than a unisex nose strip. They seem very stiff out of the package, but the water helps to create a very solid seal. The glue itself after drying is very middle of the road, it's not extremely intense.

I've used these before from a different company and the concept is the same--wet your face, put the strip on your face (black side toward your skin), then wait 15 minutes or so then peel off slowly when dry. The pictures on the box show the black side facing out but that's the incorrect way to apply these. You can see in the pictures that it does a decent job of removing clogged pores from your nose and forehead, and I didn't have any issues with skin irritation or anything.

I usually buy a name brand instead, but I'm sold on these now. I worked in the beauty industry for decades. In the salon, we traded services, so I was used to getting facials. Nothing beats a professional removing black heads. But this"¦. I got everything out of my pores on the first try. What I did though was steam my face with hot towels first (I'm a Barber), to prep the skin for removal. I applied black side down, and gently dabbed the white side a bit with water to adhere it better and Voila! Blackheads vanished. I'm going to stock up. This is a great product, and yes, I know it's for men but I knew I needed industrial strength to remove my blackheads.

We've used BIORE strips in the past to handle our, ahem, trouble spots on our noses and forehead (aka the T-Zone). Biore's work well enough but they aren't inexpensive. These looked fairly competent so we wanted to give them a whirl.
Using basically the same approach we've always used (wash area with ivory or comparable non-greasy soap, wipe clean, re-wet with warm water, apply strip(s)), these are similar but one thing we did notice is they don't harden and stick *quite* as well as Biore strips but they still manage to get a lot of gunk out.
As a follow up test, I used a Biore to see if it could pick up any thing these missed and it did miss a few blackheads. Not many, but they were there.
Still, it did a good enough job for the price but if you're looking for a slightly better job step it up a notch and look elsewhere (and pay a bit more in the process).
