This edger works as good as I need it to. I have a 40 ft concrete driveway and probably that much more length of sidewalk and this edger did the job! It used up one whole battery just to do both sides of my 40 ft driveway but the driveway had never been edged so the edger did as I had expected. That battery was hot to the touch after it went dead but charged right up the next day. This is a good alternative to a gas-powered edger for just a small amount of edging like I have.

You get what you get with this. Does it work to edge small portions of a yard at a time? Sure. Does it struggle while doing it? Absolutely. Was the price right since I already have a bunch of other craftsman v20 tools and don't mind adding another tool to my collection that isn't gas powered and won't take up much room? Yes. Strongly think this through if you don't already have either a bunch of batteries or at least one extended life battery.
