Despite the headline, this is a wonderful respirator and I would recommend it any day. I purchased it so that I can use it in my workshop while woodworking, I found it to be really comfortable and could work for hours without taking it off.
The reason for my comment in the headline and not somewhere in the middle of this review, is that there are some questions about airsoft among the reviews, and some of them state "this mask is super solid" and even "Sure!!!!", which should be illegal to say when you have no idea whether or not it can leave some poor fella with no eyes at the end of the day.
TLDR: .2g 6mm BB with 100-120m/s velocity cracked the glass from as far as 30 meters, which I'd say is VERY not safe to use in airsoft.
I wasn't expecting this respirator to be suitable for airsoft but wanted to try it out, so my plan was to test the mask first and shoot at it while approaching it between shots. I thought that a burst or full-auto from 1-2ft away *could* be dangerous, but still started at around 40 meters away. I was surprised to find out that on my fourth shot it cracked the glass by the rubber seal leaving one inch long crack in the glass. Surely I can assume I got incredibly unlucky, but should you decide to test yours "” make sure to NOT to shoot in the middle of the glass so you can at least epoxy the crack and use it as intended, should it crack the glass.

This mask provided excellent protection while I applied insecticide outside my home. Plenty of ventilation and excellent vision. The straps could be a bit stronger, but I am use to military grade material.
